This 5th album of Krishna Das “Door of Faith” is an unusual record. You can hear kirtan chants with a question – answer rhythm.
This provides a intimate feeling. This CD is produced by Rick Rubin, who has also worked for Neil Diamond and Johnny Cash. The duet “Mere Gurudev” is recorded with his daughter Janaki. The song is very gentle and endearing.
